Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam, belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
- The scholarship is only for Classes 9 and 10 Students..
- Annual family income must be ₹2.50 lakh or less.
- Applicants must not be receiving any other Govment scholarship for the same academic year
- The student should have a valid account in a Scheduled Bank, linked with Aadhaar and mobile number

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)
- Applications are usually accepted online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
- Register on the NSP Portal using the One-Time Registration (OTR) feature, which includes face authentication
- Log in using your OTR/Aadhar No credentials.
- Select and apply for the “Pre‑Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 9 & 10), Assam.
- Upload required documents
